10 years of commitment in african fashion’s service!
Labo Ethnik was founded by Yvette Tai-Coquillay in 2007 in Montreuil, with the aim of offering exposure to international designers in Paris. Through the Labo, she discovers, she highlights new designers and makes them enjoy visibility, sales and meeting platform thanks to fashion shows, stands, business meetings and thematic conferences.
With an all-round program, this major event unites an audience of professionals (buyers and journalists) and private fashion lovers.
Year after year, the exhibition proved to be a multiethnic trend and think tank. Fortified by this momentum, Labo Ethnik has become, a key event for multicultural fashion.
For 10 years, more than 30 000 visitors and 500 journalists have rushed to the Labo to discover more than 1000 emerging designers from all over the world.
Among the brands we collaborated with, several have succeeded in reaching national and international markets, such as Laduma for Maxhosa, Thula Sindi, Christie Brown and David Tatle.
This success turned Labo International into a growth booster and a springboard for a new generation of designers.
